Early morning, kiddies.

Good news: I am over the food poisoning, but the bad news is my left shoulder is still working out the last of its kinks.  I would be lying if I were to say that I’m not worried about it but hopefully I am still young enough to recuperate to something that looks like a 100 percent.  I mean, I am ONLY 26… here’s hoping.

Cool Things!

I think out of all of them, Batman’s turned out the best, but I’m starting to like the Green Lantern and Superman shoes as well.  These can be found at Journey’s.  These also mark the first time I’ve ever gotten high tops of Chuck Taylors.

Recently I entered a local Street Fighter IV tournament (I finished third!) and was never more proud to be a Street Fighter fan than when I was in a room full of guys of all shapes and sizes who, together, we created a room that could only be described as smelling like “boy” (this was according to the very very few spectators present who brought a much needed injection of estrogen to the mix).  So with that being said, I found a few images over at shoryuken.com  and selected a few that stood out to me and will make even the most casual Street Fighter fan have an extra step in their day:

For the true geek, this is the more obscure of the images I picked, but if you understand it then I am positive you are already laughing.  GENIUS!

For my friends who are history and political buffs.  A lost art, indeed.  You don’t see this on the dance floor these days.

Finally, if I ever had a daughter (God forbid that this ever happens) you can be fairly certain that THIS is exactly what I would be putting her through.
